The nice background images that came with this wonderful template are very pretty and all but not all together appropriate to the NinjaGeek'ness I was hoping for.
If you have come across any nice background pictures you think would look good on the site please contact me and I'll vet them and if allowed by the image owner use them on the site.
If you are a professional or amateur artist and think you have some personal images that you would like to showcase on our site let me know and we'll see what can be done.
I don't have any particular style in mind but nothing rude or offensive will be considered.
Thanks

With some help from Ed I now have my PC booting from my SSD while still being able to boot from the hard drive. It took a while!
Anyway we did a quick and dirty speed check on it (it was getting quite late by this time) and the results are as follows
Booting from the original hard drive (7200rpm SATAII) took 2 minutes 45 seconds
Booting from the SSD (on SATAIII (or SATA6 depending on where you look)) took 45 seconds.
Thats right it was a whole TWO minutes faster.
At some point I am hoping to do a more controlled timing and video it with the result posted here (if its not too big).
Oh and I will be doing a demo at Ed's mini LAN and the main event in Cardiff.

Well time is drawing near for the Cardiff Uni LAN party 3rd - 5th Sept.
So far after my last email about the LAN I have had NO response to the offer of a room in the University Halls of Residence.
If you want one time is running out. Halls like hotels rooms are booked by other people as well.
Here is the offer from the University Halls manager: We can offer rooms at Aberconway Hall (directly opposite Julian Hodge location for the LAN Party) on a self catering basis. All rooms are single semi en-suite (2 rooms sharing a bathroom). All rooms have access to a self contained kitchen/dining area and provided with bed linen, towels and tea/coffee making facilities. I can offer you the internal group rate for these rooms at £17.88 per room per night.
Don't delay. Book today!
